About Our CEO
Dia Malai
Dia Malai is a Queens, New York native and recording artist based in Raleigh, North Carolina since 2020. She began performing in local talent shows during her early teen years, building the foundation for her artistry and stage presence.
In 2022, Dia gained national attention after joining Team Legend on Season 22 of NBC’s The Voice. Her performances earned praise from the coaches, including Gwen Stefani calling her “a budding entertainer,” Blake Shelton noting “there’s a certain aura about you,” and John Legend declaring, “She’s a STAR.”
With a background in beauty, branding and performance, Dia continues building MOTICREATES into a culture-driven creative platform through music, media and experiences like Taste Maker Studios and Paint & Play with Dia Malai.
